Vintage statement earrings in brass with a large eagle motif and outstretched wings.
The earrings feature detailed relief in the plumage and a striking bohemian look. The metal has some green verdigris in places, which is consistent with a copper-containing alloy like brass.
The surface appears brighter and more golden in several places, and the earrings may originally have had a gold-coloured or gilded surface treatment. This has not been tested.
